Five Corning Community College students are facing multiple charges Wednesday evening after an alleged assault on two students outside a dorm room in Perry Hall.

State police say surveillance footage captured the suspects approaching the victim’s room before the incident.

The victims, a male and a female student, suffered injuries; the male refused further treatment, while the female was treated at Guthrie Corning Hospital.

The suspects, including basketball players Emmanuel Torres, Jalen Zachery and Yandiell Sanchez, were charged with crimes including gang assault, harassment and criminal mischief. All five were arraigned in the Steuben County Jail.
