Shawn Mendes releases ‘Shawn’ album: stream it now

Shawn Mendes’ new album has finally arrived, as he dropped his latest full-length project Shawn on Friday (November 15).

The self-titled album contains the previously released singles ‘Why Why Why’, ‘Isn’t That Enough’, ‘Nobody Knows’ and ‘Heart of Gold’.

Mendes first shared the album trailer via social media in July, and the clip shows the 26-year-old star playing guitar in a forest and by a campfire, surrounded by friends singing “Isn’t That Enough.” He opened the caption and wrote, “Music can truly be medicine. 2 years ago I felt like I had absolutely no idea who I was. A year ago I couldn’t walk into a studio without panicking. So to be here now with twelve beautifully finished songs feels like a gift.”

He continued his thoughtful message by thanking his fans and loved ones. “I honestly thank God for my friends and family,” he wrote. “Life can be cruel, but having a small group of people you trust deeply to get you through it makes it so much better. I have no idea how I could have coped with the last few years, let alone making an album without you.”
