Child dies after falling and being hit by a vehicle

BISMARCK, ND (KFYR/Gray News) – Police in North Dakota are investigating the death of a child struck by a vehicle.

Mandan police said Wednesday afternoon that officers responded to a home where a 3-year-old reportedly fell from a vehicle.

According to police, the driver did not realize that the child had fallen out of the car and hit him.

The child was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The child’s identity and age have not been released.

Mandan Police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol are investigating the incident.
