11-12 Champlain All-Stars defeat Essex in District 3 Little League Softball Tournament | Sport

The 11-12 Champlain All-Star softball team defeated Essex 7-1 in the District 3 Little League Softball Tournament on Friday, June 28. Champlain pitcher, Irie Shedd continued to dominate on the mound, striking out 14 batters in the game. Shedd gave up zero runs in five innings.

Champlain had eight hits in the game, including a home run. They also collected 11 stolen bases.

Champlain plays Fairfax, Fletcher, Westford on Monday July 1 at 6pm at St Albans Bay Park.
