Woman uses pizza order during 911 call to thwart sexual assault

An illegal migrant was arrested in Florida after a woman used a 911 call disguised as a pizza order to report that she was about to be sexually assaulted.

According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, Luis Hernandez-Moncayo was charged with assault by strangulation, false imprisonment and attempted sexual battery.

Officers received a call around 3:45 a.m. on Oct. 19 from a woman ordering a pizza, the sheriff’s office said in a video statement.

The dispatcher who answered the call asked questions to confirm the woman was in danger.

The sheriff’s office said they were able to determine where the call came from because the woman did not know where she was.

The call led officers to a field in Pierson. Upon arrival, officers reported finding Hernandez-Moncayo on top of the woman, screaming for help.

In an interview with officers, the woman said she knew Hernandez-Moncayo.

The woman said they drank together at a bar and everything was normal until he drank cocaine, which made him violent. She said he assaulted her several times, including choking her.
