BIOS update kills Boot-Manager rEFInd​ | heise online

My research has run more parallel installations, Windows and Linux on various SSDs. I used Boot Manager again, a fresh start, which starts the operating system. After the BIOS update was performed, the rEFInd dialog was no longer modified and Windows became a bit faster. BIOS updates can be performed (for example via Windows update) while the new version of the UEFI Boot-start shift to the weld. If other people no longer want to work and now want to view the reEFInd menu at PC Start, it will no longer be possible to install.
