The intention was to connect the singers through their chemistry and musical compatibility before they met. Payne was one of the mentors, along with Nicole Scherzinger and Kelly Rowland. According to a report from The sunthe series was supposed to come out next year, but things now seem uncertain. The outlet also reported that the upcoming documentary series Boy bands forever‘s future is also unclear at this time.

The BBC series, which looks at the behind-the-scenes life of a boy band, is also likely to be held back.
