Police are searching for suspect in assault and carjacking of Uber driver in Queens

An unknown person entered the driver’s car and punched him repeatedly in the face and body before biting him in the back and pushing him out of the car, police said. The suspect then fled in the victim’s car and drove west on 86th Avenue.

The stolen vehicle collided with several parked cars and a tree before the suspect abandoned it and fled on foot in an unknown direction. The Uber driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a woman with a medium complexion, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. Police are investigating the incident and are seeking information about the identity or whereabouts of the suspect.
