Creamline’s Alyssa Valdez can’t ignore the fact that Japanese volleyball star Ran Takahashi follows her on Instagram

Alphabetical order meant nothing to Creamline’s Alyssa Valdez, as she was already at the front of Ryujin Nippon’s fan club.

The Cool Smashers captain had an opportunity to take photos with Japanese volleyball stars Ran Takahashi and Yuji Nishida ahead of their opening match against Canada in the Philippine leg of the men’s competition of the 2024 Volleyball Nations League.

But wait, there’s more.

Not only did the Phenom get the selfie with Ryujin Nippon’s highlight reel, but Ran also started following Alyssa on Instagram.

San everyone!

“Can’t get over it!!!” she wrote on her Facebook post with too much kilig, you can feel it through the screen.

Same thing, ate Ly. The same!

The Creamline veteran can be greeted as the winner by the VNL fans this year.

In 2023, Chery Tiggo Crossovers’ libero Jen Nierva had a fangirl moment with Japanese outside hitter Ran and team captain Yuki Ishikawa.

In the meantime, we shouldn’t forget the iconic jowa reveal of NOW Lady Bulldogs’ ace, Bella Belen, with Ran in 2022.

“no more “sana all” 🫶 #jowareveal chz,” she jokingly wrote on her Instagram.

While world No. 3 Japan stumbled with a five-set loss to world No. 12 Canada on Day 1 of the Philippine leg of the VNL men’s competition, Ran Takahashi and the rest of the Ryukin Nippon are optimistic of a recovery in the upcoming matches. .

“I think we have a problem with reception. I think we no longer suffer from the great frustration because it is Canada (we are dealing with); it is (a) very nice block, a higher block. And then I think we can do much better, you know. We have (our) solution in sight, but maybe we need to improve our reception,” Ran told One Sports.

“Today we lost, but (in the) next match we will try to win,” captain Ishikawa added.

Team Japan looks to regain momentum when they take on Team Netherlands on June 21, 2024, LIVE at 7:00 PM at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City.
