Sam, 31, was announced today on ITV’s This Morning and appeared in the studio dressed as a snowman.

Presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard were today tasked with identifying two of the celebrities and revealing who was in the costume.

Kat started singing, “Take it off, take it off, take it off!”

Sam told them, “I was glad I could take that off, I’m sweating!

“It’s something I always wanted to do. It came about and it was one of them. I hadn’t thought about it in the past, the press office said it and I thought yes.”

Sam said he auditioned to get an idea of ​​what it would be like.

He said, “They actually let you stand on the ice. But I got a real buzz from experiencing it a little bit.”

“My son is quite excited about it, he’s only young, but when I told him he said ‘can I come, can I come?’ He’s only four!”

He added, “It’s fun for the audience to see me as me and not as Chesney!”

Sam started his acting career at the age of five in an advert promoting school uniforms for Asda.
