Save 60% off the Logitech G29 Racing Wheel and Pedal Set for PS5 and PC

Woot! (owned by Amazon) has the lowest price we’ve seen for a Logitech G29 Driving Force racing wheel and pedal set. Right now you can get it for $179.99, which is a hefty 60% off the regular retail price. Please note: you will receive a new one opened box device that comes with a 90-day Woot warranty. It will be delivered to you in Amazon’s “frustration-free” brown box packaging. The G29 is only compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC. Xbox gamers should get the G920, which unfortunately isn’t a great deal. This deal was available once before, but sold out quickly.

The G29 was already one of the best racing wheels under $300, for sure the best under $200. It works with both the PlayStation 5 and PC, meaning most people will probably use this for Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 and Forza Horizon 5 on PC. Standout features include a beautiful hand-stitched leather racing steering wheel that can rotate 900 degrees, a sturdy metal base, durable steel ball bearings in the axle, a gear-driven dual-force motor feedback, a stainless steel gear lever and pressure-sensitive pedals. The force feedback does an excellent job of simulating the delivery of force and resistance and certainly adds to the immersion; if you want anything better than this, you’d have to spend a lot more money for a direct-drive or belt-drive wheel, like Logitech’s own $1,000 G Pro direct-drive racing wheel that we reviewed.

The G29 is actually a bit nicer than the G920 version of the Xbox. The G29 has LED shift lights on top of the wheel spokes. These LEDs gradually light up as the car’s speed increases during the game. The G29 also has a dial on the handlebar that can be adjusted to various functions such as traction control, brake bias or split differential.

If you’re a big fan of racing games like Gran Turismo or Forza Horizon 5 and you’ve been using your standard PS5 controller all the time, then this price drop might be just the excuse to delve into it. You’ll never experience the same level of immersion using just your standard DualSense controller.
