A brand new Virgin Atlantic clubhouse will open at LAX in 2025

Virgin Atlantic has released images of a sleek new clubhouse lounge that opens its doors at 4pm Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) next year.

“We’re excited to bring our award-winning Clubhouse to the vibrant entertainment capital of Los Angeles, where we know both business and leisure travellers will enjoy our pre-flight experience across the pond,” said Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operating Officer at Virgin.

This is what we know so far.

Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse in Los Angeles

The lounge, planned for opened early 2025will become the sixth in the airline’s global network of lounges and the fourth Clubhouse location in the U.S., joining existing lounges in New York (JFK), San Francisco (SFO) and Washington, DC (IAD).

The new, flashy space will be located close to the Virgin departure lounges in the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX.

As you would expect from a Virgin Clubhouse, a large bar will take centre stage in the main area of the lounge, perfect for socialising while enjoying a pre-flight drink, such as the airline’s signature drink, “Virgin Redhead.”

Virgin likes to stand out from the crowd. This new Clubhouse is certainly a good example of that, with standout features such as dining at the table (a rare find in business class lounges today) and an exclusive VIP cabin called “The Royal Box”.

Furthermore, this new lounge will have all the amenities you would expect from a modern airline lounge, including a variety of comfortable seating areas, showersand wireless charging.

“Our newest Clubhouse has something special for every customer, from signature dishes to British designer finishes, plus some fun surprises you’d only expect from Virgin Atlantic. And we know our incredible teams will bring the experience to life brilliantly,” said Koster.

There are no windows visible in the renderings, so we’ll have to wait and see whether the lounge will offer those all-important views that Virgin offers so beautifully from the London Heathrow Clubhouse viewing deck.

The following passengers have access to the new lounge:

  • Business class passengers + 1 guest travelling with Virgin or Delta
  • Virgin Flying Club Gold Card members + 1 guest flying internationally with Virgin or Delta
  • Delta One passengers flying internationally with Delta
  • SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying with Virgin or Delta + 1 guest traveling internationally on a SkyTeam airline
