Noel Gallagher designs Manchester City kit: Players and Pep Guardiola collaborate for new photoshoot

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher says it was an “honourable honour” to design Manchester City’s new fourth kit, which was inspired by his band’s 1994 debut album Definitely Maybe.

“I think it’s unique, but it’s definitely eye-catching and I think it looks great,” he added.

The 57-year-old announced last month that he and his brother Liam have ended their 15-year feud and have reunited for a sold-out tour in 2025.

Gallagher, who has supported City for 50 years, said it took him “about five seconds to agree” when City kit manufacturers Puma approached him during a match with the idea of designing a new kit.

“If you walked up to your 16-year-old self and said, ‘In 40 years you’ll be designing uniforms for the team,’ you’d be like, ‘What?’” the songwriter added.

“When you see people representing your club, it’s important that they look good.”
