How to make a flower pot in Minecraft

How to Make a Flower Pot in Minecraft

Luckily for all you flower connoisseurs, a Flower Pot only has one ingredient in its crafting recipe. While this ingredient isn’t the easiest to find, you shouldn’t forget the recipe anytime soon. You can find the Flower Pot recipe below:

• Place three stones on a crafting table, two in the middle row on the left and right and one in the bottom middle row, to make one flower pot.

Since the only ingredient is a brick, you need to know where bricks come from if you want to make flower pots in Minecraft. A brick is smelted in a furnace by placing a clay ball in the upper box and a fuel source in the lower box. Clay balls are obtained by breaking clay blocks, which are usually found in lush caves and under shallow water. Using a shovel or other tool, break the clay block into clay balls. Breaking the clay block with a Silk Touch will cause the entire block to fall.

Take your clay balls back to your base, throw them in a furnace and melt some rocks. Then you can use those rocks to make as many flower pots as you want. Once you have the flower pots, place them on the ground and you can place a small flower, sapling, mushroom or other small plant in it. You can do this by simply clicking on the flower pot with the plant in your hand.
