Olivia Munn celebrates her husband John Mulaney’s special day

Olivia Munn celebrated her husband’s birthday, but this year, not with a homemade cake.

The 44-year-old actress took to her official Instagram account on Monday, August 26, to celebrate her husband John Mulaney’s 42nd birthday.

Munn shared two photos on her Instagram Stories of the comedienne’s birthday cake, one from this year and one from last year, showing just how far-fetched baking a cake can go.

The first slide showed two cakes: one with chocolate icing, with the words “Happy Birthday” written on it, while the second was covered in white icing and had the words “John John!” written on it.

She bought them both at a store, as she mentions in the caption of the story.

She captioned the photo, “I didn’t have the energy to make a (bad) birthday cake this year so I went to the grocery store.”

In the photo below, Munn showed off the 2023 cake she baked herself for Mulaney’s birthday last year.

“Last year’s,” she captioned the photo of the messy cake she had previously revealed but which was ruined by her 2-year-old son.

“I tried to make a four tier birthday cake but the bottom tier fell out,” Munn wrote in a clip shared at the time.

It’s pertinent to note that Munn and Mulaney tied the knot in June in an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house, as People the magazine reported.
