Kurt Zouma: West Ham defender must undergo medical before move to Saudi Arabia

West Ham defender Kurt Zouma is due to undergo a medical soon as he looks set to move to Saudi professional club Al-Orouba.

Zouma had agreed a move to the United Arab Emirates earlier this summer, but that deal fell through after Zouma failed his medical.

The Hammers gave the 29-year-old permission to remain in the region in a bid to secure a new deal.

The precise terms of the transfer are still being worked out, but Zouma will undergo a medical and, if cleared, complete the move.

French defender Zouma has made 103 appearances for the Hammers since joining from Chelsea for £29million in 2021.

He started their 2023 Europa Conference League final with a win over Fiorentina and was appointed captain for the 2023–24 season after Declan Rice left for Arsenal.
