Goran Dragic, a 15-year NBA veteran, will participate in a star-studded farewell game on Saturday. The lineups for both teams will be announced on Friday.

Dragić will play alongside Hall of Fame point guard Steve Nash. The backcourt will face two current NBA superstars, as Luka Dončić and Nikola Jokić join forces on the opposing team (h/t NBA insider Marc Stein).

The first names in their respective starting lineups for Saturday night’s Goran Dragic testimonial match in Ljubljana: Dragic goes with his mentor Steve Nash — who apparently is indeed playing at the age of 50 — and Luka Doncic names Nikola Jokic.

The match will take place in Slovenia after Dragić announced his retirement in December 2023.

Dončić, Jokić and Nash aren’t the only attendees with NBA experience. Dirk Nowitzki, Bogdan Bogdanović, Robin Lopez, Josh Richardson and Nikola Vučević are also playing. Hall of Fame forward Chris Bosh will attend the event, though he won’t be participating in any on-court activities.

While the game will honor Dragic, it appears that neither side is taking the game lightly. Dragic and Nash announced that they want to play an up-tempo offense, while Donic plans to pass the ball to Jokić and Lopez in the paint (per Stein).

Before retiring, Dragić played the 2022-23 season with the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks. He was named an All-Star with the Miami Heat in 2018 and has also played for the Phoenix Suns, Houston Rockets, Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors.

For his career, he averaged 13.3 points and 4.7 assists per game. He shot 45.9 percent of his field goals and 36.2 percent of his three-pointers, while making 76.6 percent of his free throws.

The farewell match on Saturday starts at 2:00 PM (Eastern Time).
