Keyontae Johnson Hornets agree to deal

Keyontae Johnson and the Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a contract, according to Johnson’s agency, Priority Sports. It is unclear at this time what type of contract Johnson will sign with the Hornets.

Johnson spent his rookie season on a two-way contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He appeared in just nine NBA games, but started all 38 G League games he played with the Oklahoma City Blue.

Johnson averaged 19.7 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Blue last season. The 6-foot-6 wing shot 53 percent overall and 40 percent on three-pointers.
