Alex Kerfoot in the NBA? Michael Carcone thinks so

It’s only been a few months since the Boston Celtics won the NBA title, but last week the league announced its 2024-25 schedule in an effort to help teams that share arenas with NHL teams prepare for a busy year.

One of these is Utah Hockey Club, which will soon be playing in the same Delta Center as Utah Jazz (more on this soon).

And we know that one particular Utah Jazz player, Lauri Markkanen, is a huge supporter of the NHL.

We also remember when I asked the question who would be the best fit for basketball at the Utah Hockey Club.

Well, almost a month before training camp, it appears (according to Michael Carcone) we have the answer.

Carcone announced yesterday in a social media post that forward Alex Kerfoot would be a good candidate for a tryout. In the next shot in the video, the Harvard graduate can be seen wearing a turnaround jersey.

But you have to watch the entire video to see that he has competition: Defenseman Sean Durzi did his best to imitate LeBron James, but Kerfoot ultimately defeated him in a knockout match.

And he made him hear by crying out, “Goodbye!”

Who do you think would be the best basketball player on the team? Have your say on RoundTable here.
