25 year old man arrested for domestic violence, DUI in Readsboro, VT

Vermont State Police say they arrested Casey Pillsbury, 25, of Readsboro, Saturday morning for domestic violence and driving under the influence.

Police were dispatched to a home on King Hill Road in Readsboro around 1:15 a.m. for reports of domestic violence.

Troopers say they learned the people involved in the disturbance left the home and went to another home in Wilmington.

Police say with the assistance of Wilmington and Dover police, they were able to locate and contact both parties involved.

An investigation revealed that Pillsbury had assaulted his partner and hurt them, police said.

Pillsbury was charged with domestic violence and driving under the influence.

He was arrested and taken to the Wilmington Police Department for treatment. He was released on court-ordered parole conditions and is scheduled to appear in Bennington County Superior Court on October 21.
