16 and Pregnant star Autumn Crittendon dies at 27 in tribute to mother of three

Former 16 and Pregnant star Autumn Crittendon has tragically passed away at the young age of 27. Her sister says she died “before anyone could say goodbye.”

In a since-deleted Facebook post captured by Starcasm, her sister Misty mourned the mother of three’s untimely death. She wrote, “To my dearest baby sister, my twin, my rock, my baby’s mother, my go to, my world, the only one who understood me and most of my childhood traumas, who got through it all with me, my Arnold.” Misty continued, “You were taken at such a young age. You were gone before anyone could say goodbye.”

She added that Amber had sadly passed away before they could express “how much we love you” and how “proud we are of you for staying sober during some of the hardest times of your life.” While Misty did not reveal Autumn’s alleged cause of death, she vowed that her sister’s memory “lives on every moment of every day.”

In a poignant social media post, Misty shares the heartbreaking series of events that led to the discovery of her beloved family member’s death. When she arrived at the scene, filled with emergency vehicles but with no sign of Autumn, it was an empty ambulance that signaled that her “worst fear had come true,” causing her to fall to the ground in overwhelming despair.

She continued her heartbreaking story, writing, “I walked down the hall to check the rooms to make sure you weren’t hiding there, but they were empty… silent… I went to where you were last and just stood there in disbelief… how could my little sister be gone? I was just talking to her. This is so not real life. It’s not real.”

She added: “I’m begging God to give you back to us.. I saw the shirt you were wearing and I held it so tight, I smelled it for so long as I just stood there empty, broken, finally allowing myself a moment to fall apart knowing the kids were okay and I was alone. I’m going to hold that shirt close to my heart forever. We’re going to make sure these babies are okay. Your memory will not fade with time. It will live on every moment of every day.”

Autumn, who previously appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant during the reality TV series’ fifth season, was struggling with her relationship with Dustin Franklin, the father of her son Drake. She was a high school student in Richmond, Virginia at the time, and she was concerned about Dustin’s unemployment and frequent marijuana use, and she doubted his ability to be a good father.
